We acted for the vendor of this four-bedroom house in the heart of Shepherd’s Bush.

The property had previously been rented out and was struggling to sell. The flooring looked dated, the walls were marked, and the furniture looked tired.

Blackman Investments undertook the following works in order to improve the presentation of the property and make it more appealing to prospective buyers:

• New LVT flooring was laid throughout the ground floor

• New carpets were fitted throughout

• All walls were redecorated in a soft white

• The whole house was beautifully staged with elegant furniture

As a result, while other houses on the same side of the road were failing to sell - particularly given the major redevelopment project at the foot of the garden - a strong offer was received from a buyer who exchanged contracts within 15 days and completed one week later.
